Warren & Burstein wins in the Ninth Circuit: First criminal reversal of 2021

In United States v. Grimaldo, --- F.3d ---, No. 19-50151 (9th Cir. 2021), the Court vacated our client's 10-year sentence and remanded for resentencing.

The Court of Appeals agreed with Mr. Burstein's arguments that the district court made several errors at sentencing, including imposing a gun enhancement. The Court ordered a new sentencing for our client. Click on the case name above to read the opinion.
