Warren & Burstein wins major Fourth Amendment decision in the Ninth Circuit

Devin Burstein secured a full reversal of our client's convictions before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

In a lengthy published decision, the Ninth Circuit agreed with Mr. Burstein's argument that law enforcement violated our client's Fourth Amendment rights by searching the contents of his email without a warrant.

The case is United States v. Wilson, --- F.4th ---, No. 18-50440 (9th Cir. 2021).
