Warren & Burstein secures lesser sentence for U.S. Congressman

Devin Burstein represented Congressman Duncan Hunter in charges stemming from his use of campaign funds.


After successfully fighting off the government's motion to dismiss Congressman Hunter's appeal, Mr. Burstein helped secure a plea deal for a single count.


Mr. Burstein then argued against the government's request for a 14-month sentence. Agreeing with the defense, the court imposed a lesser sentence.
