In the past two weeks, Warren & Burstein has successfully litigated two compassionate release motions, freeing our clients from jail based on the increased risk from COVID-19.
Two different federal judges in San Diego agreed our clients were especially susceptible to the disease and converted their sentences to time-served, with home confinement as a condition of supervised release.
One is already home, and the other will be on her way shortly.
